Sales Engineer

MPower is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for our Dallas/Fort Worth location. This opportunity is for an experienced person who is highly motivated and passionate about understanding customer challenges and providing solutions. This is a position that requires a person who can flourish in an environment of challenge and change, and has a desire to learn, grow and be part of a successful team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform technical support activities in support of MPower products or services sales
  • Conduct scheduled product tours and online product seminars
  • Prepare detailed product demonstrations for remote meetings with potential clients
  • Conceptualize and document solutions that demonstrate how clients can get maximum benefit from their donor management system
  • Assist sales team in understanding the detailed requirements of potential clients and determining solutions within the MPower product suite
  • Answer technical questions from potential customers
  • Create and support sandbox requests from prospects and existing clients
  • Maintain and continually improve technical understanding of MPower product suite
  • Assist Sales, and Business Development teams in gathering requirements for scoping and pricing custom projects
  • Provide technical responses to client RFPs, RFIs and other direct requests

Job Requirements

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to achieve
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of fundraising and advocacy solutions
  • Experience working with a software company
  • Experience and knowledge of non-profit industry would be a plus
  • Proficiency with WebEx, Excel and Power Point
  • Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
  • Strong listening skills; demonstrated ability to ask effective need-development questions
  • Ability to translate features into benefits by adapting presentation to specific client requirements and needs
  • Self motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and client-focused environment
